1 Job 1 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job. That man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God, and turned away from evil. 2 Job 2 Again it happened on the day when the God's sons came to present themselves before Yahweh, that Satan came also among them to present himself before Yahweh. 3 Job 3 After this Job opened his mouth, and cursed the day of his birth. 4 Job 4 Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered, 5 Job 5 "Call now; is there any who will answer you? To which of the holy ones will you turn? 6 Job 6 Then Job answered, 7 Job 7 "Isn't a man forced to labor on earth?
